The UN involves itself in wars around the world and sometimes takes the wrong side, as in the conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Yesterday, the UN said that Israel's possession of their Iron Dome missile defense system, which has prevented a majority of Hamas rockets from actually killing people on the ground, may constitute a war crime against the Palestinian civilians because Hamas does not have the same technology. They also criticized the U.S. for helping fund Israel's Iron Dome system which has saved countless Israeli and Palestinian lives. "No such protection has been provided to Gazans against the shelling," said UN Chairwoman Navi Pillay, a known Israel critic.
So the UN is still condemning Israel for defending itself and its people and criticizing them for using a defense system that Hamas doesn't have. And they're criticizing the United States for helping to fund that system because we are allied with Israel.
I would remind the UN (and all others who think it's "just not fair" that when you pick a fight with someone who is bigger, stronger, better trained, better equipped and more determined than you - it's not often a fair fight. But if you're the one who starts it you have no right to complain.

The UN Human Rights Council has long been critical of Israel. According to Breitbart:
The UNHRC has never formally mentioned “Hamas” by name, let alone condemned it.
The UN has their own agenda that is not necessarily favorable for all countries involved. Their stance against Israel protecting itself proves that. I'd be OK if we kicked them out of the US and quit the UN altogether. But I know it won't happen.
How about instead of threatening Israel with war crimes for using their defense shield the UN charge Obama with them instead? After all - it's better to go after the dealer than the user. Just sayin'...
