“I have to believe that when you do not respond in any way, that you are either inept, or you have some ulterior motive of which you are functioning from,” Perry said about the President - referring to the fact that the borders are wide open and the federal government is doing nothing to stop the massive influx of illegal aliens.
Now an arrogant Perry has refused to meet Obama's plane for a quick handshake and photo op when the President lands in Austin on Wednesday.
“I appreciate the offer to greet you at Austin-Bergstrom Airport, but a quick handshake on the tarmac will not allow for a thoughtful discussion regarding the humanitarian and national security crises enveloping the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas,” Perry wrote in a letter to Obama. “I would instead offer to meet with you at any time during your visit to Texas for a substantive meeting to discuss this critical issue.”
So first Perry criticizes President Obama then refuses to meet him for a photo opportunity (which is a highly sought-after event, I'm sure). He must be a racist. What other explanation could there be? It couldn't possibly be about the flood of illegals coming unimpeded across the border daily. There's nothing wrong with that. Everyone knows they're just "coming here for a better life."
Perhaps Perry should prove his true feelings by going out to the tarmac and pointing his finger at Obama like that other racist governor, Jan Brewer, did a couple of years ago. Gee - that incident also had to to with illegal immigration and the lack of federal action to stop it. There seems to be a pattern here.
Obviously Perry and Brewer are racists of the highest caliber. They hate Obama because he's black and hate people crossing the borders illegally because they're foreign. They use the excuse of illegal immigration to criticize the greatest President ever but we all know the truth, right?
We all know it's nothing but racial hatred. After all - Chris Matthews, Oprah, Harry Reid and even Obama himself say so.
