Obama Thinks The Government Is His...

In an interview while in Normandy, France, for the 70th anniversary of D-Day over the weekend, President Obama was asked about his decision to trade the five top Taliban commanders for one questionable American soldier who, by all accounts, is a deserter who should face court martial as soon as he is back on American soil.

It was a “unanimous decision” by “my government. I make no apologies for it," President Obama said. His government? Maybe he meant his administration. If I was to give him the benefit of the doubt I would believe that. But we're talking about Barack Obama - Narcissist-in-Chief. He doesn't make mistakes. Just ask him.

Anyone with compassion for American military members is happy that we got Bowe Bergdahl back from the Taliban. I am.... even if his fate once he's home is a military prison for a lot of years. At least his parents can go see him and talk to him - unlike what they could do while he was with the Taliban. 

I don't know what Bergdahl did or why he did it. All accounts from the guys in his unit say he deserted - walked away one night, without his weapon or bullet-proof vest, and went in search of the Taliban. Why did he do that? Was he a collaborator or did he somehow think he could negotiate with them. We don't know that yet. We will have to wait for the official investigation for that answer. And I'm OK with that.

But to get him back the President traded five of the top Taliban commanders, men being held for war crimes, back to the Taliban. They have "restrictions" for a year but already one has vowed to return to the battlefield to "kill Americans." What could possibly have possessed an American President to do something like this except appeasement of the Taliban and Obama's desire to make the closing of the detention center at Guantanamo Bay a part of his legacy? I can't think of any other reason without implicating the President of treason. He seems to have aided and abetted the enemy.

His statement yesterday about "my government" says a lot about the man. I've known for years that Barack Obama is a narcissist. He thinks he is superior to everyone else and that he makes no mistakes, ever. He pretends he doesn't know anything so he can't be called on the carpet for what he does. Sadly - only those of us with working brains know what he's really about. If the majority of Americans actually realized who Obama is he never would have been re-elected.

I personally believe Barack Obama should be impeached for failing to lawfully notify Congress that he was making a prisoner swap and for aiding and abetting the enemy (Taliban) by returning their top commanders, war criminals, to them. If any Americans die at the hands of any of the five commanders the blood will be on Obama's hands.

Barack Obama should 1) resign or 2) face impeachment. But what am I saying? Neither is going to happen. Obama will never resign and as long as the Democrats control the Senate he will never face impeachment - because Democrats, led by the ever insane Harry Reid, will never betray their leader. No matter what he does.

All we can hope is that Republicans take both Houses in November. It's the only way true justice will ever be served.
