Our government, specifically the administrators that oversee the Social Security Administration, have determined that the cost of living has failed to rise enough, for the second year in a row, for SS recipients to receive a COLA raise.  This will be the second year in a row in which Congress and the Senate have voted themselves a raise but our seniors won't get a raise.  Food is up, medications are up, health care costs will be rising rapidly, and energy prices will be shooting up if and when Obama pushes Cap and Trade through.  So our poor, elderly people who live on Social Security will have to decide what they will do without.  I'm thinking food and heat/cooling in their homes.  Pretty sad.
